Fuel Consumption of Boilers Reduced by 8.3% | |||||||
There are three dual fuel hot water boilers in a government hospital. Boiler feed water is treated by water softener and chemicals. Annual cleaning of boiler tube is not normally done as in a closed loop configuration. When HydroFLOW is used and descaling function takes effect, the fuel consumption is reduced by 8.3% after one year of study. The payback period is within 2 months. |

There are two electrical hot water boilers in a government facility. Hot water is used in the staff changing room. Due to the formation of mineral scale, hot water supply temeprature was difficult to keep in the past when the number of staff in using the changing room is significant. The heat transfer was impeded by the formation of mineral scale in the past.
